Expert Tip
The diavlos was a wind instrument of ancient Greece. It was a basic musical instrument in all celebrations and especially in the festivals in honour of Dionysus. The flute (single or double-diavlos) was also used during games and other sports activities, to accompany and coordinate the movements of the athletes.
