Today, with the evolution of diamond cutting methods, we find diamonds cut in many different shapes and styles on the world market. By cutting style we refer to the shape and arrangement of the facets – i.e. the flat polished surfaces – on the cut stone. By brilliant cutting style we refer to that style which has triangular and deltoid seats in a radial arrangement, while by step cutting style we describe cuts which have square and rectangular seats in a parallel arrangement.<\/p>\n
